We learned about food insecurity, sustainability, and home horticulture, and raised more than $15,000 for UCI’s Fresh Hub student food bank.

In 2021, the following groups collaborated to bring UHills residents information and resources related to food insecurity, home horticulture, and sustainability: FRESH Hub Student Food Bank, City of Irvine, HOOT (Helping Our Owls Thrive) Community Group, UC-ANR (University of California Division of Agricultural and Natural Resources), South Coast Research and Extension Center, Tanaka Farms, UHills Sustainability Committee, UHills Community Safety and Diversity, and learn more about BlueBarrel Rainwater Catchment System and IRWD (Irvine Ranch Water District) . _{UHills HRB , ICHA, O’Connell Landscape, and WM.}
